Gonzaga's Kelly Olynyk Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week award-winner for February 18, 2013.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KELLY OLYNYK, JR., C, GONZAGA

For the second time this season, Gonzaga center Kelly Olynyk is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Olynyk shot 19-for-30 from the field for 63.3 percent while averaging 21.5 ppg and 8.0 rpg as Gonzaga won at Saint Mary's and at San Francisco to improve to 12-0 in the WCC. Olynyk scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds at Saint Mary's, and scored 26 points and grabbed 9 rebounds as Gonzaga snapped a 3-game losing streak at USF. He was 13-17 from the field for 76.5 percent against the Dons.
