SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 23, 2015.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - KYLE WILTJER, JR., F - GONZAGA
Junior forward Kyle Wiltjer had a monster week, putting up the second-highest single-game point total in the nation on Thursday and posting a double-double in a win at league No. 2 Saint Mary's on Saturday. For his efforts, the All-American candidate earned his second straight West Coast Conference Player of the Week honor and his third this season.

First, at Pacific Wiltjer poured in 45 points including seven three-pointers and 15-for-22 overall shooting. He grabbed six rebounds and was also 8-for-9 from the free throw line. Wiltjer's 45 points marked the third-highest single-game total ever at Gonzaga and the highest in 54 years.

He followed that up with an encore performance in a 70-60 come-from-behind win at Saint Mary's. Down as many as 17 in the first half, Wiltjer scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and recorded two blocks to help GU erase the deficit. Down nine with only 6:20 on the clock, Wiltjer scored 11 of his 16 points the rest of the way, including six straight free throws to seal it.
