USF's Cole Dickerson earns season's final Player of the Week award

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week award-winner for March 4, 2013.

COLE DICKERSON, JR., F, SAN FRANCISCO

For the second time this season, San Francisco junior Cole Dickerson is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. In the Dons' only game last week, Dickerson scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead USF to an 83-70 win at San Diego, clinching the fifth seed in the upcoming WCC tournament. Dickerson was 9-13 from the field, including 3-4 from three point range, and 3-4 from the line. He also had three assists and a block. It was his WCC-leading 11th double-double of the season.
