Gonzaga improves its record to 29-3, while Pepperdine falls to 22-8 in the regular season.
Dickau made 10-of-19 shots from the floor, including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. The senior guard also posted four boards, three assists and one steal in the win. Also coming on strong for the Bulldogs was sophomore Blake Stepp, who recorded 24 points and made a game-high five three-pointers. Both Zach Gourde and Corey Violette totaled 16 points each to round out Gonzaga?s top scorers. Violette, a sophomore, also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Waves were led by junior guard Devin Montgomery with 27 points. Montgomery shot 7-of-14 from the field, 4-of-8 from three-point land and 9-of-11 from the charity stripe. Also scoring in double-figures for Pepperdine were Jimmy Miggins (12) and Glen McGowan (10).
Joining Dickau on the All-Tournament team were Stepp and Violette from Gonzaga and Montgomery and Miggins from Pepperdine.
