Morrison, Redick Share Another Honor

INDIANAPOLIS - Gonzaga University's Adam Morrison and Duke University's J.J. Redick shared another award as they were voted co-Players of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The award was presented in Indianapolis, site of this year's Final Four, at the NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show. Redick was also presented the Naismith Award by the Atlanta Tipoff Club at the NABC awards show. Morrison was one of the four finalists for the Naismith Award and was in attendance at the NABC Awards Show.

Morrison and Redick, the nation's top two NCAA Division I scorers, also shared the Oscar Robertson Player of the Year Trophy. Morrison was named the Chevrolet Player of the Year as voted by the sports staff of CBS Sports and Redick earned the Associated Press Player of the Year nod.

Redick and Morrison are also John R. Wooden Award Top Five All-America selections and will be in Los Angeles on Saturday for the naming of the Wooden Award recipient.

The Wooden Award will be presented during a live show from the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Saturday at 11 a.m. PDT.
