SAN BRUNO, Calif. - As part of their long-term relationship, the West Coast Conference has announced that a minimum of 44 men's basketball games involving WCC schools will air nationally on ESPN networks this season, including additional exposure during the 2015 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship in Las Vegas.

The West Coast Conference will once again be a centerpiece to ESPN networks' Thursday night and Saturday coverage. In all, 16 conference games will be showcased on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU in 2014-15. West Coast Conference basketball will be featured on ESPN's popular Championship Week coverage in 2015, with five live telecasts from Las Vegas: two quarterfinal games (Saturday, March 7, ESPN2), the WCC semifinals (Monday, March 9, ESPN and/or ESPN2) and the championship game on Tuesday, March 10 (ESPN or ESPN2).

With at least 44 games aired on ESPN networks in 2014-15, the West Coast Conference will set a new record for most nationally televised contests previously set in 2012-13 with 43. Since the 2009-10 season, the WCC has gone from 19 games on ESPN networks to more than doubling the total for the 2014-15 campaign. In addition West Coast Conference men's basketball will appear twice on the same day an unprecedented seven times this season, up from three dates last year.

The West Coast Conference's national telecast package is highlighted by a pair of clashes between BYU and Gonzaga - the teams that met in the 2014 WCC championship game before advancing to the NCAA Tournament. In addition, both teams will face conference foes Saint Mary's, San Francisco and San Diego in nationally-televised showdowns.

In addition to the conference games, ESPN will televise seven nonconference games that are a part of the West Cast Conference's national television package - including two WCC teams participating in the popular College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. BYU (EA SPORTS Maui Invitational), Loyola Marymount (Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic), San Diego (Wooden Legacy) and Santa Clara (Orlando Classic) will also participate in holiday tournaments on ESPN networks. Additional WCC nonconference road games on ESPN networks will be announced at a later date.
