Gonzaga's Kevin Pangos Named WCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Basketball Player of the Week for December 1, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - KEVIN PANGOS, SR., G - GONZAGA
Senior guard Kevin Pangos led No. 10 Gonzaga to the NIT Season Tip Off championship, taking home tournament MVP honors along the way. During the tournament at Madison Square Garden, Pangos averaged 16.5 points a game (second on the team) while adding 15 total assists and three steals.

Pangos scored a season-high 22 points, shooting 71.4% from the floor in an 88-76 win against Georgia. In the championship game against St. John's, Pangos set a season with nine assists while playing all 40 minutes in the win.
