SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- It's hard to believe that West Coast Conference play is barely a week away! Based on the strength of non-conference play, it looks like we are in for a fantastic race for the West Coast Conference men's hoops crown.
The good news is that you'll be able to keep up with the race on TV and on-line like never before. As part of the 90-game WCC conference schedule, at least 82 games will be televised nationally, regionally, or locally. In addition, a minimum of 59 of those games can be seen via our new platform, TheW.tv. At least 17 WCC men's basketball games will air exclusively on TheW.tv, while the other 42 will be simulcasts with our regional sports network partners: Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Comcast SportsNet, ROOT Sports, and FOX Sports San Diego.
Here's the tricky part: due to contractual rights, games that are on television in your local market will be blacked out (based on ZIP code) on TheW.tv.
