SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- WCC teams are in the home stretch of their non-conference schedules, with WCC play set to tip-off in December for the first time in conference history.

WCC QUICK HITS

  • Saint Mary's is the only team in the nation to rank in the top ten in both scoring defense and scoring margin. The Gaels are tenth in scoring defense (55.0 pts. allowed per game) and seventh in scoring margin (20.9 average). Saint Mary's enters Tuesday's play on a seven-game winning streak.

  • Gonzaga hosts Butler on Tuesday evening (6 p.m. PT on ESPN2). The Bulldogs are 2-2 so far this season on ESPN Networks. The Zags will also play at Xavier (ESPN2) on Dec. 31.

  • Only eight Division I teams have won at least 25 games in each of the last four seasons. Three of those teams (BYU, Gonzaga, Saint Mary's) call the West Coast Conference home.

  • Gonzaga's Elias Harris is the WCC Player of the Week for December 19. Harris averaged 18.5 points and nine rebounds, while shooting 72.7% in a pair of Zags victories last week.

  • Seven members of the 2011 All-WCC Team were named to this year's Preseason All-West Coast Conference Team.

  • The WCC's weekly web video show, "The Road to Las Vegas," returns to WCCsports.com next month. Also in January, WCC Live, the popular Internet talk show returns. Look for more information coming soon!
