Domingo Jojola Leads Anteater Invitational at Three-Under; USF Fourth

(Newport Beach, CA) - Domingo Jojola shot a three-under 69 in the opening round and shot an even par in the second round for 141 to sit atop the leader board of the 2007 Anteater Invitational, hosted by UC Irvine at the Big Canyon Country Club. The Dons fired 303 in both rounds on Monday and are in fourth place heading into the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

Tournament host UC Irvine leads the pack at 596 (296, 300), followed by Arizona B at 600 (299, 301) in second, while Saint Mary's is third at 605 (302, 303), just one stroke in front of the Dons at 606 (303, 303). UC Riverside rounded out the top-five at 611 (304, 307).

Other notables for San Francisco included Chris Cunningham in a logjam for 20th place at 154 (74, 80). Jesse Galvon shares the 27th spot at 155 (79, 76).

With two rounds in the books, USF leads three West Coast Conference foes. The Dons are 11 strokes in front of Loyola Marymount, 24 shots in front of ancient Bay Area rival Santa Clara and 37 up on Portland.
