Junior Eric Shriver carded rounds of 71-72 for a 1-over par total of 143 on Monday and is tied for 11th after 36 holes of the USC Collegiate Invitational that is being contested at the par-71, 6,742-yard North Ranch Country Club in nearby Westlake Village.
Behind Shriver, the Waves post a 21-over par 589 and are eighth among the 15-team field. Host USC holds the second-round lead with an even-par score of 568 and holds a one-shot lead over Stanford (569).
UCLA (570) is third followed by Tennessee (574) and California (585).
Loyola Marymount's Brian Locke and USC's Jamie Lovemark share the 36-hole lead with 6-under par scores of 136. Erik Flores of UCLA, the Trojans' Rory Hie and Tennessee's Philip Pettit are tied for third, one shot back at 5-under par 137.
Freshman Shane Mason is among the Top 20 after posting a 3-over par score of 145 and is tied for 17th.
