TUSCON, Ariz. - The University of San Diego men's golf team continued play in round two of the NCAA Tournament at the Omni Tucson National Golf Club shooting a team score of 294 for the round to move their combined score to 593 which is good for 25th place after two rounds.
The University of Arizona is the clubhouse leader at 24-under and North Carolina State University and the University of Florida are tied for second at 21-under.
Jimmy Harris and Michael Barry both had solid days for the Toreros as each shot one under par. Luke Antonelli, and Bucky Coe both shot four over Par and Jake Yount was six over par to round out the scoring for USD.
"Our round was similar to yesterday," said head coach Tim Mickelson. "We hoped to play better but it didn't happen. Our guys have it their all and it just didn't happen."
The top 10 teams following Saturday's final round will advance to the NCAA Championship at Sunriver, Ore.
