USF Men's Golf Second at 2006 Hawks Invitational

(Bolton, MA) - USF men's golf is off to a strong start to the 2006 Fall Season and is in second place after 36 holes at the 2006 Hawks Invitational with a five-under 571 Friday at the International's Oak Course. Freshman Chris Cunningham shares second place with a three-under 139 in his Green and Gold debut, while sophomore Domingo Jojolo shares fourth place with a two-under 140 in their Green and Gold debuts.

San Francisco shot 285 in the opening round and then shot a 286 in round two and trail Campbell, which shot 562 (284, 278), by nine strokes heading into Saturday's final round. Texas Pan-American (294, 289) sits in third place with 583, tournament host Hartford (297, 288) is fourth at 585, while Johnson & Wales (302, 286) rounds out the top-five at 588.

Kenny Adams (72, 75), Jesse Galvon (72, 75) and Taylor Hobin (74, 73) all share 20th place.
