Loe Ties For Fifth At Vandal Fall Classic

MOSCOW, Idaho - Trevor Loe shot a final-round 74 Tuesday to finish tied for fifth at the Vandal Fall Classic men's golf tournament.

Loe, who entered Tuesday's final round tied for the lead, finished with a 211, his 74 following first-day rounds of 68-69. Nick Travers of Boise State University put together his second straight 67 to go with an opening-round 71 for a 205 and a 4-stroke victory over Nic Van Vuuren of Utah Valley State College.

Freshman Brandon Crick shot a 69 Tuesday to help the Bulldogs to an 871 and sixth place, three strokes out of fifth behind Weber State University. Host University of Idaho captured the team crown with an 853, six strokes ahead of the University of British Columbia. Crick finished tied for 14th.

Gonzaga will travel to the Nevada Wolf Pack Classic next Monday and Tuesday.
