Golfers in 10 place heading into final round

(South Bend, IN) - The USD golf team remained in a tie for 10th place heading into today's final round of the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Clasic. USD shot a second round team score of 298 and sit at 605. Michigan State is in control through two days of play as they sit at 559 (-1). They are followed by Baylor (573), Arkansas (577) and Lamar (578). Mike Barry fired a second round 70 and leads all USD golfers with a two-day total of 146, good for a tie for 22nd. He is followed by Jake Yount (t-43rd at 151; 77-74), Darrin Hall (t-45th at 152; 76-76), Blake Trimble (t-58th at 156; 78-78) and Jason Shano (t-63rd at 159; 78-81). Michigan State's Ryan Brehm shot a second round 64 and leads with a 136 total.
