Golfers tied for 6th at Wolf Pack Classic

(Reno, NV) - The USD Toreros men's golf team finds itself tied for 6th place after two rounds of the 2007 Wolf Pack Classic being played at Wolf Run Golf Club (par 72; 7,100 yards) in Reno, Nevada. Arizona leads the 19 team event with a two-round total of 565, and is followed closely by Iowa State (569). USD shot team scores of 284-297 for a 581 total and are tied with Long Beach State and Denver. Darrin Hall is USD's leader with a two-round score of 143 (73-70). He is followed by Mike Barry (t-23 at 145; 68-77), Jake Yount (t-29th at 146; 71-75) and Blake Trimble (t-36th at 147; 72-75). The third and final round will begin at 8 am Tuesday morning.

Iowa State's Joe Cermak leads the event at 139 (68-71), while a trio of golfers are just one shot back - Tom Whitney of Air Force (73-67), Tarquin MacManus of Arizona (69-71) and Tyler Neal of Arizona (69-71).
