Toreros Tied For 4th at The Prestige at PGA West

(La Quinta, CA) - The USD men's golf team is tied for 4th after two rounds of The Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, California. The Toreros shot team scores of 287 & 294 for a two-round total of 581 (+5) and find themselves tied with Pepperdine in the sixteen-team event. Charlotte (566) leads after day one with UC Florida (570) and Stanford (578) rounding out the top three. Torero Darrin Hall shot a second round 71 to move into a tie for 15th at 144 (even par). He is followed by teammates Mike Barry (t-20th at 145; 73-72), Blake Trimble (t-29th at 146; 70-76), Bucky Coe (t-29th at 146; 71-75) and Joe Panzeri (t-75th at 155; 73-82).

Top five individuals include Clayton Rask of Minnesota (136), Andrew DiBitetto of Charlotte (139), Dan Woltman of Wisconsin (139), Tim Schaetzel of Michigan (139) and David Johnson of Central Florida (140). The final round will be played Tuesday morning
