Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

The USD men's golf team totaled a team score of 287 after the first day of the 2007 Turtle Bay Intercollegiate in Hawaii and finds itself in 19th place out of 21 teams. Senior Joe Panzeri, playing as an individual, was USD's top performer as he fired a 66 (32-34) to place him in 9th place overall among 114 individuals. The Torero squad was paced by Mike Barry (t-48th at 70), Blake Trimble (t-73rd at 72), Jake Yount (t-73rd at 72), Darrin Hall (t-87th at 73) and Bucky Coe (t-103rd at 75). Tennessee (264) leads the team event with the top-5 being rounded out by Charleston (268), Pepperdine, UC Irvine and UT-Arlington all totaling 270.

Top individuals after one round include Robin Wingardh of Tennessee with a 9-under par 63, Bobby Massa of UTA (64), Troy Merritt of Boise State (64), Seung-Su-Han of UNLV (65), Zack Reeves of UTA (65), Sean Shahi of UC Irvine (65), Dennis McCollum of Charleston (65) and Daniel Cone of Saint Mary's (65).
