Golfers 17th at Turtle Bay

Two Round Results Get Acrobat Reader

(Hawaii) - The USD golf team shot a second round team score of 292 and find themselves in 17th place out of 21 teams after two rounds of the 2007 Turtle Bay Intercollegiate. The final round will take place on Wednesday. Junior Blake Trimble shot the team's low round of the day with a two-under par 70 and is now tied for 50th at 142. Senior Joe Panzeri, playing as an individual, followed up his opening 66 with a 75 and is tied for 37th at 141. Rounding out the squad is Mike Barry (T69 at 145; 70-75), Bucky Coe (T79 at 147; 75-72), Jake Yount (T79 at 147; 72-75) and Darrin Hall (T85 at 148; 73-75). Tennessee continues to lead the event with a two round total of 539, 11 strokes better than second place UC Irvine. UC Irvine's Sean Shahi fired a 67 today and is the clubhouse leader at 132 (-12).
