The Pepperdine men's golf team shot a final-round 5-over par 293 to finish in 10th place at the CordeValle Collegiate that concluded Tuesday at the par-72, 7,119-yard CordeValle Country Club in San Martin, California. Junior Eric Shriver tied for 19th to lead the Waves.
Pepperdine finished the 54-hole tournament with a 3-over par score of 867. Stanford shot a third-round score of 20-under par 268 to finish at 42-under par 822 and register a 14-shot victory over USC. The Trojans posted a score of 28-under par 836.
Arizona (841) was third while Coastal Carolina (847) placed fourth, and Lamar and Northwestern tied for fifth with scores of 15-under par 849.
Shirver carded a final-round 2-under par 70 to finish the tournament at 3-under 213.
Stanford teammates Rob Grobe and Zack Miller tied for individual medalist honors with 14-under par totals of 202 to finish two shots ahead of USC's Jamie Lovemark, who recorded a 12-under par score of 204.
Pepperdine junior Jesse Barnsley tied for 25th with a 1-under par total of 215.
The Waves close out their fall schedule at the Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational in Kauai, Hawaii, November 22-23.
