Golfers Place 2nd at Hawaii Fall Intercollegiate

(Hilo, HI) - USD's Darrin Hall carded a final round 66 to finish tied for first with LMU's Brian Locke at the Hawaii Fall Intercollegiate. Locke took home medalist honors after defeating Hall on the first playoff hole. USD shot a final round team score of 289 to finish tied for 2nd with New Mexico State at 869 (+5). LMU took home the team title with a score of 864. San Diego State (879) and Louisiana Tech (880) rounded out the top five in the 16 team tournament. USD's Hall played three solid rounds with daily scores of 69-71-66. He was followed by Jake Yount (T15 at 220; 73-70-77), Dale Smith (T15 at 220; 72-74-74), Kenneth McCready (T40 at 225; 78-75-72) and Joe Panzeri (T56 at 76-75-78).
