El Paso, TX - Playing in a field with 25 of the nation's best, 18 ranked in the nation's top-100 individually, Loyola Marymount junior Brian Locke managed to place 13th at the 2007 Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic. The 2006 and 2007 All-American finished with a two-under 211 as he placed better than 10 ranked players.
Locke, playing in the tournament hosted by the Sun Bowl for the second straight year, finished the tournament with a round of 73. He finished last year's tournament in a tie for 19th at the El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas.
His final round included birdies on the par-4 seventh, the par-5 13th and the par-4 15th. On the tournament he had 13 birdies.
The Lions will return to action during the spring season on Feb. 25-26 at the Anteater Invitational hosted by UC Irvine.
