Pepperdine Seventh Place Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational

Kauai, Hawaii - Pepperdine junior Colin Wilcox posted rounds of 71-72 for a 3-over par 143 total is tied for eighth place after two rounds of the Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational that opened Wednesday at the par-70, 6,885-yard Kiahuna Golf Club in Kauai, Hawaii.

The Waves totaled a 24-over par score of 584 and are seventh place after 36 holes of the nine-team event. Host Purdue leads the tournament heading into today's final round with a 7-over par score of 567.

The Boilermakers have a three-shot lead over Texas, which finished the first day with a 10-over par score of 570. Clemson (572) is third followed by Michigan (575) and Virginia Tech (579).

Purdue's Peter Richardson recorded rounds of 63-71 for a 6-under par score of 134 and holds a three-stroke advantage over Farren Keenan of Texas.

Freshmen Carl Smith and Shane Mason are tied for 21st with 7-over par scores of 147.
