San Diego 7th After First Round of Braveheart Classic

The University of San Diego men's golf team shot a 296 to take 7th place after the first round of action at the Braveheart Classic Tournament hosted by UC Riverside.

For the Toreros, senior Luke Antonelli leads the way as he is tied for 12th place after shooting a first round cumulative score of 72. Behind him, redshirt freshman Darrin Hall is tied for 24th after putting up a 74. Jimmy Harris, Mike Barry, and Bucky Coe are all tied for 35th place with 75.

Loyola Marymount University shot a first round 289 to take a two-shot lead over UCLA after the first round. Jacksonville's Jamie Kennedy is in first place after shooting a four-under 68.

Play will conclude on Tuesday at the Oak Glen Golf Course in Beaumont, CA.
