Pilots 11th Thru Two Rounds At Duck Invitational

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- The University of Portland men's golf team sits in 11th place at 609 after two rounds of play at the Oregon Duck Invitational. Senior Aaron Anderson is tied for 36th place overall at 5-over par 149 at the par 72, 6,807 yard Shadow Hills Country Club. The third and final round will be played on Tuesday.

San Diego State leads the 12-team field with a 566, while Oregon State (573), Wyoming (580), Washington State (581) and Nevada (584) round out the top five.

Washington State's Ryan Witz holds a two-stroke lead individually with a 5-under par 139.

Portland junior Jake Easterly is tied for 45th at 151, while senior John Marty is tied for 55th at 151. Sophomore Matthew Jacobsen shot a 155 and is tied for 59th and sophomore Joel Johnson rounds out the Pilots' scoring at 167.
