Men's Golf Team In Twelfth Place After Two Rounds Of Mustang Invitational

The USF men's golf team is currently in 12th place after the first two rounds of the Mustang Invitational, which is being hosted by Cal Poly at Cypress Ridge Country Club.

The Dons shot a team score of 301 in the first and second rounds for a total of 602. Leading the team is freshman Chris Cunningham and sophomore Jesse Galvon. Cunningham is currently tied for 18th place after shooting a 147 (75, 72) and Galvon is tied for 23rd place after shooting a 148 (73, 75). Junior Kenny Adams, who is playing unattached in this tournament, is currently tied for 15th after shooting a 146 (75, 71).

The third and final round action starts tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. After two days off the Dons will travel to Santa Barbara to compete in the Ogio-Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Golf Championships, which is being played at the Alisal River Course.
