SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The 2014 West Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championship will take place at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash. starting Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 16. All nine WCC squads will be in action, including two-time defending champion Saint Mary’s.

The 2014 West Coast Conference Golf Championships return to the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton Washington. The event runs from Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 16. Golfers will play 18 holes per day on the par-72 course playing at 7,007 yards.
2013 WEST COAST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP | RESULTS
Last year, Saint Mary’s captured its second straight WCC title. The Gaels built a big lead in the first two rounds and held off a charging San Francisco squad in the final round. Saint Mary’s shot a three-day total of 872, for a two-stroke win against the Dons. BYU, Gonzaga, and San Diego tied for third (880).
San Diego’s Grant Forrest captured medalist honors with a 6-under 210 (74-67-69), finishing four strokes ahead of Gonzaga’s James Fahy. BYU senior Zac Blair and Saint Mary’s Ben Geyer were named the 2013 Co-Player of the Year. The two seniors tied for seventh at the 2013 tournament with a total score of 217 (+1). Gonzaga’s Sean Walsh finished third and earned Freshman of the Year. SMC’s Scott Hardy was named Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
