No. 19 Pepperdine Tied For Sixth After Two Rounds Of Coca-Cola Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Led by a 2-under par 142 by senior All-American Michael Putnam, the No. 19 Pepperdine men's golf team is currently tied for sixth place after two rounds of the 15-team Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions being contested at the par-71, 6,932-yard Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Host Tennessee leads heading into Tuesday's final round after posting a 26-hole scored of 1-over par 569. The Volunteers hold a four-shot lead over Alabama, which is at 5-over par 573 after two rounds.

East Tennessee State (575) is third and is followed by Vanderbilt (576) and Virginia (580). Pepperdine and Georgia Southern are tied for sixth with 13-over par scores of 581.

Individually, Georgia Southern's Aron Price leads with 4-under par score of 138. East Tennessee State's Rys Davies, Tulane's Chris Wheeler and Vanderbilt's Luke List are one shot back at 3-under 139.

Putnam is tied with Louisville's Charlie Woo for fifth place after shooting rounds of 68 and 72.
