Men's Soccer Exhibition Moved to Sullivan

Aug. 15, 2006

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Sunday's men's soccer exhibition between LMU and #10 UCLA has been moved from UCLA to LMU's Sullivan Field. Previously scheduled for 2:00pm, the game will now start at 4:00pm. Tickets will be available at the gate.

The Lions are coming off of an 8-8-4 season in 2005 with a third place finish in the West Coast Conference. LMU returns 19 letterwinners including six All-Conference players from a year ago.

UCLA was 12-5-3 in 2005 and returns 17 letterwinners to the 2006 squad. The Bruins are ranked #10 in the preseason NSCAA/adidas poll. The annual rivalry game between LMU and UCLA has often been a preview to the postseason as the two squads have played in the NCAA Tournament three times during the last five years.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children and seniors.
