SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Soccer Player of the Week for September 22, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - CONNER BEVANS, JR., F - GONZAGA
Junior forward Conner Bevans was instrumental in securing Gonzaga's first win of the season, a 4-2 victory over previously-unbeaten UNLV. Bevans tallied two assists and one goal for four points, the first four-point match of his career. He assisted on the Zags' second and third goals. The second assist was particularly important as he played a great pass to Zach Hamer in space so Hamer could net the eventual game-winner.

Bevans later iced the game with his first goal of the year in the 90th minute, getting around a UNLV defender and finishing past UNLV's keeper. Bevans should have scored another goal as well as he hit the left post and the right post, in quick succession during the 54th minute.

Also nominated: Kalei Gallarde, Pacific; Rafael Sanchez, Saint Mary's
