Gonzaga's Nate Pacheco is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its men's soccer Player of the Week for September 24, 2012.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NATE PACHECO, SO., F, GONZAGA

Gonzaga sophomore Nate Pacheco is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Pacheco scored two goals last week, including the game-winner in a 3-2 win over UC Irvine.

Pacheco, who had missed the past three weeks due to an ankle injury, scored his first two goals of the season last week. He was named to the Hensor/Zaher Nike Classic All-Tournament team after knocking in the game-winner against UC Irvine in Corvallis, Ore. Pacheco also put the Bulldogs up 1-0 in an eventual 3-2 double-overtime win over Wisconsin-Green Bay.
