Four WCC men's soccer players were named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA District VIII All-Academic team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday.
Gonzaga's George Josten was named to the District VIII All-Academic team for a third straight year, while Santa Clara's Matt Hatzke earned his second straight honor. Loyola Marymount teammates Trini Gomez and Adam Sloustcher round out the league players named to the team, as four of the 11 players honored hail from the WCC, more than any other conference in the district.
All four players are now eligible for selection to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team, which will be announced at a later date.
