Loyola Marymount's Pedro Velazquez is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Men's Soccer Player of the Week for November 5, 2012.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PEDRO VELAZQUEZ, FR., F, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

Loyola Marymount freshman Pedro Velazquez is the West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week. Velazquez helped keep the Lions unbeaten in its last three matches.

Velazquez provided the helper on Sean Sears' goal just 48 seconds into the match at Portland on Friday, giving the Lions the 1-0 advantage. LMU went on to win 2-1. Two days later in Spokane, Velazquez notched his fifth goal of the season in the 8th minute, then capped the LMU scoring with his second goal of the game in the 59th minute.
