Santa Clara's Eric Masch Named WCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its men's soccer Player of the Week award-winner for October 31, 2011.

ERIC MASCH, F, SANTA CLARA

Santa Clara senior forward Eric Masch is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for men's soccer. Masch scored two goals last week as the Broncos won both matches.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at San Francisco, Masch sparked a three-goal comeback win for the Broncos on the road against rival USF. Masch's goal put SCU on the board in the second half, the first of three unanswered scores which allowed the Broncos a key win.

On Sunday, Nov. 6 against Saint Mary's, Masch scored his fourth goal of the year to tie things up with SMC in the first half. The Broncos went on to win 2-1.
