#17 BOISE STATE EDGES PAST USD 4-3 IN MEN'S TENNIS ACTION

(San Diego, CA) - The visiting Boise State Broncos, the 17th-ranked team in the nation, improved their record to 4-0 with today's 4-3 win over the USD Toreros (0-4). Boise State swept all three doubles matches to earn the critical match point, and then won two of their three singles matches in three sets. BSU's Luke Shields defeated Jonas Mouly at No. 1 singles (1-6, 6-2, 6-2). USD received singles wins from Thomas Liversage at No. 2, Ryo Sekiguchi at No. 4 and Matt Ozurovich at No. 6. USD's next match will be on Thursday, Feb. 8th, when they host Saint Mary's at 1:30 p.m. at the USD West Tennis Courts.
