Men's Tennis Sweeps Swarthmore

Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team improved to 4-4 on the season by sweeping visiting Swarthmore 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Korth Tennis Complex on the Saint Mary's campus.

The Gaels won the doubles point with victories by Achim Christner and Yury Platonov and the team of Julien Tizot and Adam Fauvre.

In singles action, the Gaels swept Swarthmore, with Tizot, Fauvre, Platonov, Christner, Alp Ozpinar and Tim Welty all winning in straight sets.

The Gaels return to action on Monday, March 6 when they host San Francisco at 3 p.m. at the Korth Tennis Complex.
