The USF men's tennis team completed a Southern California sweep on Sunday by winning 4-3 at UC Santa Barbara. The Dons defeated Cal Poly Saturday.
After the Gauchos took the doubles point, it was up to the Dons to take four of the six singles matches to earn the win and that is exactly what they did.
The visiting Dons won at No. 1 No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles to seal the victory. At No. 1, USF senior Matthew Berry defeated Anders Dalskov by a score of 6-2, 6-0.
At No. 3, Thong Tu defeated Josh Finkelstein, and at No. 4, it was Rainier Nachbauer, a freshman, beating Barton by a 6=2, 6-0 score.
The match was decided at No. 5 singles. Asaf Cohen, a freshman, extended UCSB's Max Taylor to three sets and posted a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 victory.
