TOREROS DOWN UTAH 5-1

(San Diego, CA) - The USD men's tennis team earned their third straight win with today's 5-1 decision over the University of Utah. The win gets USD back to .500 at 7-7 for the season. The Toreros close out their 13-match homestand this coming weekend when they host Yale on Friday at 1:30 p.m., followed by Princeton on Saturday (12:30 pm). USD's Thomas Liversage, ranked 47th in the nation, beat Utah's Zach Ganger (No. 51 ranking) in three sets at No. 1 singles, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. Chris Coetzee won in straight sets at No. 2, Jonas Mouly won in three-sets at No. 3, Ryo Sekiguchi and Matt Ozurovich won in straight sets at No. 4 and No. 6, respectively.
