Fresno, CA - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team suffered a tough 6-1 loss on Wednesday afternoon to No. 41 Fresno State at the Wathen Tennis Center on the campus of Fresno State.
With the loss the Gaels fall to 4-7 on the season, while Fresno State improved to 10-5 overall and remain undefeated at home.
Saint Mary's dropped the doubles point, losing all three matches by a score of 8-3.
The Gaels' lone point came when sophomore Yury Platonov beat Sam Tadevosian 6-3, 6-7, (12-10).
The Gaels will face team Great Britain on Saturday, March 25 at 12 p.m. in an exhibition match at the Korth Tennis Complex.
