USD Men's Tennis Downs Yale 6-1

(San Diego, CA) - The USD men's tennis team defeated the Yale Bulldogs today by the score of 6-1. The win was San Diego's fourth straight victory to improve their season record to 8-7. After dropping all three doubles matches to fall behind 1-0, USD bounced back to sweep all six singles matches. USD's Thomas Liversage earned a 7-5, 6-4 win over Yale senior Brandon Wai (La Jolla HS) at No. 1 singles for the Toreros. Chris Coetzee won 7-6, 6-2 at No. 2 over Mike Caldwell. Jonas Mouly (#3 singles), Ryo Sekiguchi (#4 singles), Charl Wolmarans (#5 singles) and Matt Ozurovich (#6 singles) all won three-set decisions. USD will host the Princeton Tigers tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
