BOISE, Idaho - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team ended on a positive not at the Red Lion Tennis Invitational. The Bulldogs defeated the University of Idaho 5-1. The match was decided when Gonzaga won five out of the six singles.
Ried Arthur came out strong playing in the No.1 position defeating Timothy Huynh 6-4, 6-4. In the No. 2 spot Brett Womack defeated John Hieb 6-4, 7-6. Cooper Fratt, playing in the No. 4 position, beat Paulo Miranda in two sets 6-4, 6-4. Charles Adams played hard for three sets in the No. 5 spot defeating Joel Trudel 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. In the No. 6 position, Robert Penney defeated Ned Hayley 6-2, 7-5.
The Bulldogs return to action at home where they will face Northern Arizona on Saturday April 1st.
