The Pepperdine men's tennis team wasted little time getting back in the column Wednesday afternoon, downing the Cal Poly Mustangs 6-1 at the
Pepperdine swept the double's point and won single's positions 1-5 in the victory.
James Lemke gave Pepperdine a 2-0 lead in the match after cruising past Kyle Roybal, 6-1, 6-2, at the No. 3 position. Cal Poly closed the gap to 2-1 after Nick Berger defeated Troy Aiken by the same scores.
Richard Johnson picked up a straight set victory over Rob Foy at the No. 4 position to extend the Pepperdine lead to 3-1 and Omar Altmann's 6-1, 6-4 victory over Fred Dewitte at No. 5 clinched the match for the Waves who have now won 54 straight home matches.
Pepperdine will return at action Saturday when it hosts
