KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team had their second win in two days. The Bulldogs started out slow losing the first three singles matches, but then they came back to win the next three matches and two out of the three doubles to win the point. The Bulldogs defeated Weber State on Saturday afternoon 4-3.
Marco Pineda got the action started playing in the No. 4 singles spot. Pineda defeated Zack Rideout 6-3, 6-2. Charles Adams, in the No. 5 position, defeated Chris Williams 7-5, 6-1. In the No. 6 position was Robert Penney who defeated Trevor Thompson in two sets 6-1, 6-4.
In doubles play Reid Arthur and Charles Adams defeated Mathis Saberon and Quinn Allred 8-5 in the No. 2 spot. Robert Penney and Cooper Fratt playing in the No. 3 position defeated Cole Paterson and Chris Williams.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday against Eastern Washington University. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m. with singles action first.
