MISSOULA, Mont. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team played tough in their match on Saturday afternoon against the University of Montana. The Bulldogs won three out of the six singles matches, but came up short in doubles play only winning one of the three matches. Gonzaga fell short to Montana 4-3.
Brett Womack played in the No. 2 singles spot winning against Stuart Wing 7-6, 6-3. Marco Pineda defeated Felipe Raw in the No. 4 position 6-4, 7-6. Charles Adams played in the No. 6 singles position. Adams came from behind to win his match against Josh Katz 3-6, 6-2, 7-6.
The Bulldogs return home for the final time this season to face Eastern Washington University. The match is on Wednesday at the Martin Tennis Courts. The match will begin at 3:00 p.m. with singles action first.
