The Pepperdine Waves sent their lone senior Richard Johnson out in grand style Monday afternoon by sweeping the Fresno State Bulldogs on Senior Day at the Ralph-Straus Tennis center.
The victory extended Pepperdine's home win streak to 57 straight.

Although the match was a sweep, just two of the six single's matches were settled in straight sets, with James Lemke and Mahmoud Kamel earning 6-3, 6-1 and 6-4, 6-4 victories at the No. 3 and No. 6 positions, respectively.
Andre Begemann held off Jakub Cech 7-6 in the third set on court No. 1 in the closest match of the day. Bassam Beidas took down Rudy Siwy, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at the No. 2 position. Omar Altmann defeated Charles Irie, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 5 and in the last match of the contest, the senior Johnson broke Tejesvi Veerepalli's serve to complete a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory.
Pepperdine will return to action Friday when it opens play in the West Coast Conference tournament.
