Men's Tennis Opens Play At ITA Regional

SEATTLE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team opened play at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Regional Friday. The three-day event is being hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle.

In the opening round of the singles bracket, Roman Dojcak dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Greg Hirschman of Stanford University.

Cooper Fratt and Stefan Feddersen each fell in their respective matches in the round of 64. Fratt dropped a 6-2, 6-2 match to Laurent Garcin of the University of Nevada, while Feddersen fell 6-1, 6-1 to Tobias Obenaus of Washington.

Saturday, Feddersen and Dojcak will compete in the main draw of the doubles tournament, as well as all three Bulldogs will compete in the consolation bracket as the three-day event continues.
