Men's Tennis Travels to Fresno State for Wednesday Match

MALIBU, Calif. -

Waves on the RoadThe No. 10 Pepperdine men's tennis team travels north to face No. 44 Fresno State in a 5 p.m. match on Wednesday at the Wathen Tennis Center. The Waves head into tomorrow's action with a 4-1 record after going 2-0 on Saturday with wins over Saint Mary's and Santa Clara.

About the BulldogsFresno State is ranked 44th in the most recent ITA/Fila National Rankings and holds a 2-2 record. The Bulldogs are coming off of a 0-2 road trip, falling to Tulsa and Oklahoma State. The Waves hold a 17-2 advantage over the Bulldogs as Pepperdine looks for its third road win of the season.

Last Time...The Waves hosted West Coast Conference foes Saint Mary's and Santa Clara on Saturday, improving their record to 4-1. The two wins gave head coach Adam Steinberg his 99th and 100th Pepperdine victories.

Next Up...Pepperdine returns home to host San Diego State on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. followed by a match against UNLV on Sunday at 1 p.m.
