The USF men's tennis team swept the doubles and split the six singles matches in toppling a ranked Hawaii squad Thursday afternoon at the Olympic Club.
With the win, USF improved to 3-1 on the season.
After sweeping the three doubles matches, the Dons were able to get wins at number three by Thong Tu (6-4, 6-3) over Derrick Lajola, at number four by Asaf Cohen (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) over Chad Faulk and at number six by Einar Hart (6-2, 6-2) to wrap up the victory. Number one player Matt Berry lost his first match of the season to Sascha Heinemann in three sets.
USF next hosts UC Davis at 1:00 Friday at Golden Gate Park.
