No. 2 Men's Tennis Hosts No. 33 Wake Forest on Wednesday

Malibu, Calif. - The No. 2 Pepperdine men's tennis team continues its six-match home stand on Wednesday, March 8 when it faces No. 33 Wake Forest in a 1 p.m. match at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, Calif.

The Waves are 14-1 on the season after defeating then-No. 36 Michigan, 6-1. The Demon Deacons are 7-3 on the season after dropping their last match to then-No. 31 South Carolina, 4-3.

Wake Forest has two players ranked nationally with junior Todd Paul holding a No. 15 ranking, while junior Andrew Hamar is ranked at No. 62. In October, at the All-American Championship, Paul knocked off Rico in three sets, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, en route to the back draw championship.

Wednesday's meeting will mark the first-ever between Wake Forest and Pepperdine on the tennis court.
