MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine men's tennis team has walked off the courts at the Ralph-Straus Tennis Center victorious in each of the last 52 matches. But picking up #53 will have to wait as Mother Nature stepped in and caused the postponement of Tuesday's match against No. 2 Ohio State.
The match, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. PDT, was pushed back twice due to wet courts cause by cool and cloudy weather in the Malibu area. Just as the courts were finishing drying, the skies opened up with a heavy down pour.
The two teams will try to get the match in starting at 4 p.m., but the weather forecast continues to call for wet conditions the remainder of the day.
